If you haven’t gone to roosters you are certain missing out! They brew their own beer (and root beer!) and have the best burgers in town, hands down. Along with your roosters gift certificate you will get a $10 gift certificate to Ground for coffee on historic 25th. This location is run by an amazing rad mama named Sadie who not only makes a killer late but she also does a lot for supporting local and she is just as sweet as pie.

Historic 25th is a unique and  wonderful place. It seems like Ogden is working really hard to support and uplift the community. Its incredibly refreshing to see a town with a downtown  That is completely local. there’s been a few new additions to the downtown area recently as well. This Monday take some time and explore historic 25th and see what you can find.

Early in the day at 11am Utah tea room is having their grand opening ribbon cutting. On their facebook the owner says “The day has FINALLY come! Thank you for the PATIENCE, LOVE and SUPPORT. I never knew it would be so much work but it is truly beautiful and the food is awesome! Please join me if you can. Free Drinks to all my FB friends!”  Utah tea room is described as being an Escape to an English Country Garden serving scrumptious food, beverages and exquisite specialty desserts. So head on over and support a member of your community and all the hard work they have done to accomplish their dreams.

Another new addition to historic 25th is sock monkeynaround antiques at 236 historical 25th street. They are
Ogden’s source for Vintage, Antique, Shabby Chic, & Retro Items. They opened December first so stop by and check them out.

After a day of shopping  and eating at all the wonderful stores and museums, cherry blossoms, ume designs, slavy, rovalis, roosters, union station  and so many more, its a perfect time to grab a cup of cocoa at uncommon grounds or grounds for coffee and walk over to the Christmas village to see the lights.

Ogden is a very special town, don’t forget that and  never take it for granted.  Sometimes we  try so hard to find something more, something better than what we already have that we miss whats right in front of us. Lets all take a moment to revel in what is already here and not wait until its too late.

You only live once; but if you live it right, once is enough. – Adam Marshall
