>Thursday: red balloons, open mics and playing rockstar

9 Jun

>Wasn’t yesterdays weather odd? i spent the afternoon sweating while taking photos with the lovely Raychel ( from the blog:http://toorchardavenue.blogspot.com/ ) and the lovely drew ( from local bands: private partners and necromaniac’s )for an upcoming blog post (see the blooper/teaser above) and then as soon as i get home it gets cold an rainy! I had to cancel one of my plans but luckily i still made to to the psychi open house at the borrowed earth emporium. I absolutely love this mural that was painted upstairs! The open house was such an emotional experience and i am excited to learn more about Psychi and all that it can do for me. Psychi is a powerful healing process that i will be blogging more about soon, to learn more now check out this local psychi consultant’s website: http://indigoraven.webs.com/.

Today, If the weather cooperate, i will be checking out the new ‘Ogden rad mamas’ plot at the community garden. Suzy Dailey of Grounds for coffee on Harrison ( open for 20 years!!) has generously donated this plot to us. We are all so very excited and thankful. If you haven’t checked out the Sunflower Community Garden you simply must and for local gardeners ( or those wanting to learn) there are a few more plots for sale. Plots are $25 for the season and come with programmed water lines, lots of sunshine, and some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Grounds for coffee is also looking for local musicians to play Thursday nights throughout the summer so if you are interested in a garden plot or performing email daileyjava@aol.com.
