This Saturday in Ogden Utah is jam packed with amazing events; everything from record store day shows to women’s rights marches to earth day celebrations. There’s no need to travel away today as Ogden Utah has all you need! Well lets get to it, here are today’s events sure to keep you busy.

Tournament of champions round 2

The Basement presents Tournament of Champions 2011 – Round 2. Doors open @ 7:00PM

Earth day celebration: A HUGE day is on tap for the Ogden Nature Center’s annual Earth Day Celebration. We’re packing the house with tons of earth-friendly ideas, booths, workshops and activities! Everything from renewable energy to backyard chickens will be part of the fun. Children love the water trailer and the rock climbing wall while adults enjoy taking home special plants from the native plant sale. Visit www.ogdennaturecenter.org for full details! Acoustic Saturday’s at the Bee
Although still a relative newcomer to the music scene (she began performing just a little over 2 years ago), Alicia Mcgovern is quickly standing out. This is her second appearance at the BEE, after her CD release party in November 2010 for her widely acclaimed new CD, “Words Through the Seasons”. Charting on the Folk Radio charts at #5 in December of 2010, and on the EuroAmericana Chart at #2 for February 2011, this sophomore CD is getting rave reviews.
