>Its is an incredibly beautiful day outside and i hear that a lot of stores on historic 25Th are having sales so if you have some free time i suggest taking a stroll. Don’t feel like shopping here are my suggestions for a perfect Tuesday –

Ogden nature center– Your senses will come alive at the Ogden Nature Center during the winter months. Walking the trails to a melody of cracking and crunching sounds, the smell of the fresh winter air will fill your lungs and rejuvenate your body and mind. Wild turkeys, deer and fox are leaving frosty tracks all over our 152-acre nature preserve. Dark-eyed Juncos, Black-capped Chickadees, Cedar Waxwings, and Spotted Towhees are here for the winter to delight bird watchers. Meet live birds of prey such as eagles, owls and hawks who are housed in the mews. Bundle up the family, fill a thermos with hot chocolate and visit the Ogden Nature Center for fun, outdoor winter exploration.

The ice sheet– I’ll admit i have an irrational fear of ice skating that i intend to get over this year i swear. If I’m going to do it successfully the best place seems to be the ice sheet. The Ice Sheet was built in 1994 as an Olympics venue for the 2002 Winter Games. Known as one of the top curling venues in the world and a proud addition to Weber County’s recreational facilities. The Ice Sheet offers a wide variety of recreation and sport opportunities in such areas as Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Curling, and Public Skates.

The Solomon Center– The Solomon center is a one stop family fun center equipped with bowling, glow golf, arcades, indoor surfing, indoor skydiving, rock climbing and a movie theater! If you need somewhere to take the family THIS IS IT!

Tubing and sledding– check out the rad tubing and sledding map of Utah i found at the Utah agenda website. It shows the best places to blast down hills and a map of each one!

So don’t waste this glorious Tuesday get out there and have fun! looking for more events? dont forget to check out indie Ogden’s blog calendar for more.
